Amaranth (Amaranthus caudatus) or Kiwicha as it is known in South America was a staple crop of the Incas, Aztecs and other pre-Columbian cultures. Amaranth grains are flavourful and a good source of plant protein. These seeds are light, crisp and have high amount of filling fibre as well.
